North American Tool Corp. has appointed Phil Samuels director of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for developing and implementing fast feed milling inserts sales and Carbide Drilling Inserts marketing strategies to strengthen and grow the overall performance of North American Tool Corp. and Allen Benjamin Inc. (South Beloit, Illinois), and Gaylee Saws and Bitner Tooling Technologies (Sterling Heights, Michigan). He will be based in North American Tool’s South Beloit facility.

Before joining North American Tool, Mr. Samuels was the general manager of North American operations for William Beckett Plastics, a supplier of packaging for cutting tool manufacturers. He has numerous years of experience in cutting tool marketing and sales roles with Precision Tool Co., Bassett Rotary Tool, Field Tool Supply Co., Cleveland Twist Drill and Briggs-Weaver Inc.
